What does a journey mean? We have travelled the world searching for pictures of ourselves, which is why the simple gesture of contemplation has aroused so much interest in man. We have travelled with the desire for images to complete us and give us an answer to the roots of our humanity. Since the introduction of photography into our lives, the possibility of capturing what we see, of making it portable, has been a way of sharing the experience and of offering a vision that we consider unique. This need to show our passage through the place we visit, together with the development of new technologies, has allowed us to share our obsession with showing how we see ourselves. Like is the consequence of a weariness that homogenises the act of seeing itself and reflects on the evolution of travel photography over the past century and social media's influence on it.
